Return, Exchange, and Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping with HomeItems! We aim to make your shopping experience as smooth and satisfying as possible. While we take every measure to ensure that your products are carefully inspected before shipment, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as expected. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, don’t worry—we offer a comprehensive return, exchange, and refund policy to ensure your satisfaction.
Eligibility for Return, Exchange, or Refund
You are eligible for a return, replacement, or refund only if your purchase meets the following conditions:

If you receive an incorrect product (i.e., the product does not match the item description on the website or the wrong product is delivered).

If the product you receive has a genuine quality or manufacturing defect, or if it’s physically damaged during transit.

If the product is missing parts or accessories.

If the product quality is not satisfactory.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
If your purchase meets the above criteria, please raise a request within 72 hours of delivery. You can contact us through email:

- When reaching out, please provide the following details:

Order ID number

Upload 4-5 images of the product, showing the original packaging and the condition of the product. This is mandatory for processing your return, exchange, or refund.

All products must be returned in their original packaging, with all tags intact and in unused condition.
Processing the Exchange or Refund

If there’s a genuine defect in the product, we will gladly exchange it for a replacement or issue a refund in the form of Store Credit or Gift Cards within 7-10 working days after we’ve received the returned product.

In cases where a replacement is not available, we’ll notify you and process your refund through Store Credit or Gift Cards of the same value.
Important: If you receive a tampered package, please do not accept it. Hand the package back to the delivery person before signing the Proof of Delivery (POD).
Cancellation Policy

Orders can only be cancelled before they are packaged for dispatch. Once the order is packaged, the cancellation option will no longer be available.

To cancel, go to the Order Section on our website and click the Cancel button. If the order has already been packed for dispatch, you won’t be able to cancel.

After cancellation, we will process the refund, which will reflect in your account within 7-10 business days.
If the product is out of stock and we are unable to fulfill your order, we will initiate a refund within 10 working days.
Shipping Policy
We currently ship to most pin codes across India through our trusted logistics partners. Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally at this time.

Standard shipping in India usually takes 3-7 days depending on your location.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an update with tracking details via email. Alternatively, you can track your order using your Order ID on the Track My Order section of our website.

If you need your order expedited, feel free to reach out to us via email with your order ID, and we will try our best to process your shipment earlier.
Reverse Pickup & Exchange Timeline

We will arrange a reverse pickup within 4-5 working days of your return request.

For exchanges, your replacement order will be shipped out 4-5 working days after we receive the returned product.
Refunds for Online Payments & COD Transactions

Refunds will be processed through HomeItems Store Credit or Gift Cards only.

Store Credit or Gift Cards can be used for your next purchase at HomeItems.in.

Refunds via store credit will only be initiated once we receive the returned shipment.
